The headset is light and functional, and comes with a broadband Loudspeaker and a Microphone that features passive noise cancelling which is designed to filter out background noise. When mobility is paramount, look no further than the Snom A170, the Headset is not connected to your telephone via Bluetooth or wires but by DECT technology, which is considerably stronger. With a range of up to 25 metres, users will not have to worry about moving away from the telephone.
To stop you missing an important call whilst on the move the A170 also has integrated EHS (Electronic Hook Switch) functionality. At the touch of a button users can control the most important functions such as accepting an incoming call , muting the microphone or increasing/decreasing the volume, this can be done directly from the Headset. No need to worry about calls taking longer than expected, due to the second back up battery installed in the base unit, this can be activated at any time, even mid call. Having to end your call to charge your battery is a thing of the past.
The Snom A170 isn’t just limited for use with a Snom telephone, it can also be hooked up to your PC using the integrated USB port, with a simple flick of a switch on the base unit, users can switch between PC and telephone easily and quickly.
